Sade Announces R&B Superstar John Legend Will Join Her on All 2011 Tour Dates :
 Global super-star Sade, known for their one of a kind timeless sound, recently announced that the acclaimed singer, songwriter and pianist, John Legend will join every date on their highly anticipated 2011 summer tour. John Legend is nominated for five Grammy Awards and two NAACP Awards this year for his collaboration with the Roots on the extraordinary new album WAKE UP! The once in a lifetime tour, combining two of the most recognizable and powerful voices in R&B today, will begin on June 16th in Baltimore, Maryland at the 1st Mariner's Arena. The Live Nation produced concert tour consists of 50 concert dates and tour dates in top arenas across North America, with additional dates to be announced soon. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

John Legend, a six-time Grammy Award winner, is nominated for five additional awards at this weekend's telecast on February 13th for his work with the Roots on WAKE UP!, including Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song ("Shine"), Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance ("Hang On In There"), Best R&B Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocals ("Shine"), and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance ("Hang On In There"). Legend is also nominated for two NAACP Image Awards at this year's ceremony on March 4th for Outstanding Album ("WAKE UP!") and Outstanding Group, Duo or Collaboration.

John Legend announces 2011 tour dates :
 For those who find the East Coast Blues & Roots festival too far to travel, news has emerged that R&B man John Legend will perform two headline concert shows on the side.
The recent work of John Legend with The Roots on their album Wake Up! brought out a different side to the hip hop group. His collaborations with long-time mentor Kanye West, who co-produced three of Legend’s albums, have inspired everyone from Jay-Z to dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man to line up to work with him.

 John Legend Biography
Neo-soul singer and pianist John Legend combined the raw fervor of contemporaries Cody ChesnuTT and the burning precision of D'Angelo. Born John Stephens, Legend was a child prodigy who grew up in Ohio, where he began singing gospel and playing piano at the tender age of five. Legend left Ohio at 16 to attend college in Philadelphia, and it was there that he first found a larger audience. Not yet out of his teens, Legend was tapped to play piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything" in 1998. After completing college, he moved to New York, where he began to build a loyal following playing in nightclubs and releasing CDs that he would sell at shows.
